The Law of Resonance...

The Law of Resonance is a metaphysical principle stating that you do not get what you want out of life, but rather you attract a direct reflection of who you are. Derived from the physical phenomenon where matching frequencies amplify one another, this principle asserts that your internal state—consisting of your core identity, beliefs, and emotional baselines—broadcasts a specific energy frequency that naturally draws in matching people, situations, and environments. (Google).
In Mechanical Physics: Resonance occurs when an external force matches the natural vibrational frequency of an object, causing it to vibrate with a much larger amplitude. A classic example is a struck tuning fork causing an untouched, identical tuning fork across the room to hum spontaneously.
In Metaphysics: This physical mechanism serves as a metaphor for consciousness. Proponents claim that human thoughts and emotions carry distinct electromagnetic signatures. Under this view, the universe acts as a giant tuning fork, echoing your internal state back to you through reality.
Many people confuse resonance with attraction, but they are not the same:
Law of Attraction: Often practiced by fixating on an external desire or outcome (e.g., wanting more money or a specific relationship).
Law of Resonance: Shifts the focus entirely to internal identity shifting. It posits that if you worry about lack while wishing for wealth, you are resonating with "scarcity" and will only draw more scarcity. To manifest a change, you must embody the emotional frequency of the person who already has that life.
So instead of saying, “I want ____” become the person who already has_______.
How to Apply the Law of Resonance:
Audit Your Current Baseline: Honestly evaluate your dominant daily thoughts and reactions. Are you acting from a place of security or fear?
Reframe Core Narratives: Shift your underlying assumptions. Change passive, defensive talk (e.g., "Good things never happen to me") to targeted, empowering beliefs.
Embody the Desired Identity: Act, make choices, and treat your body exactly like the version of yourself you wish to become would. Consistency in these small choices builds a new permanent frequency.
Change is hard for everyone. And who we are inside doesn’t necessarily change just because, we have to be specific and targeted in our desire and wishes for things to be different for us. We will never become marathon runners whilst sitting on the couch. The first change happens BEFORE you ever put on your running shoes. Something happens inside you that changes your identity from a couch dweller to a runner. It is just a decision, an internal thought, a change in perspective and identity. Nothing has really changed - you are still siting on the couch, but you just changed who you were. Now all that is left is follow through...
Without the mindset shift, you will never actually become a runner. You will forever be a couch dweller. It is the limiting beliefs that keep us stuck in repetitive patterns. And it is so weird because we don’t even like the narratives we promote and repeat. But we fail to understand the resonance of the beliefs we carry and so they proliferate.
I have started doing this morning manifestation. It has become a mantra and my entire feeling about my life has changed from feeling stuck and useless to feeling hopeful and engaged. I want to live my life and I have no idea what shall happen next because I am just open to whatever comes. I trust that I will be led towards purpose and fulfillment because I am feeling purposeful and fulfilled right now. So the resonance of my beliefs shall only increase. As with everything, change comes first in tiny, almost minuscule changes repeated over time. Sure it is great to lose 100 lbs, but you don’t do that just because one day, it is making the choice to eat differently and better, it is going for the walk when you want to rot on the couch, it is tiny decisions made in a new direction that make the long term effect of 100 pounds lost.
We pull towards us what we already are...if you don’t like what you are getting change you. Manifesting is fantastic but the law of resonance says that we will only vibrate with like frequencies so let’s make sure we alter our frequency to be more in line with what we wish to bring toward us...vibration will happen regardless, why not make It resonate with who you are, it is just a decision, then follow through...
Again, still...
