Make Way for Fire Horse Energy...

In Chinese astrology, the Horse represents freedom, movement, expansion, and forward momentum. It’s confident, expressive, and full of life. When you add the Fire element, that energy becomes even more passionate, courageous, visible, and motivating you into action.

This is an energy that supports growth, abundance, and manifestation, but it flows best when we prepare ourselves to meet it consciously.

Here are five ways to align yourself with the force of the Fire Horse:

  1. Release What Feels Done

Don’t hang onto things that are complete.  Allow them to pass away.  Allow yourself to shed.  The Wood Snake taught us that if we hold onto that which is done and over, we curtail and perhaps negate that which will move us forward, we release things that are over and meant to be left.  We could lose a habit that no longer serves us.  A commitment that once was invigorating but now feels like it is bleeding us dry.  A long held belief about yourself that isn’t supported by the facts today.  Today is a day for clearing and cleaning.  Arrange your space so that the Fire Horse energy can roam freely.

  2. Slow down to Speed Up

The fire horse is going to bring momentum, intense energy, high-speed movement, independence, and significant, rapid changes.  But the horse always takes time to assure its footing even while running at top speed.  It will serve us well to ground ourselves before the Fire Horse energy is upon us and since it begins the 17th at 7:01 EST, the time is now.  When we slow down intentionally, we progress with clarity and clear seeing.

3. Clarify What Abundance Means to You

Abundance looks different for everyone.  Is it financial growth, more freedom with time, feeling healthier, calmer or more aligned with goals?  The Fire Horse is very supportive of manifestation but in order to manifest, you need clarity of direction and purpose, otherwise you are just running around bleeding energy in unproductive ways.  Perhaps ask yourself:  What do I need in my life?  What do I want in my life?  What do I want my days to look like?  What would bring me peace and clarity?  How can I feel lighter and more complete?  What brings me joy and purpose?

4. Begin with a Step Towards that Which You Seek

Momentum doesn’t come from huge leaps. It comes from small, consistent steps: begin.  It matters less what you are beginning, and more that you begin...Fire energy responds to action.  Confidence comes after we begin not usually before.

5. Support your energy, not just your goals

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the years is that how we feel matters just as much as what we do.  When your nervous system feels calm, when your body feels nourished, when your skin, breath, and muscles feel relaxed and supported, you naturally move through life with more clarity and ease.  Simple daily rituals like yoga, mindfulness practice, meditation, stretching, breath work, or time outdoors, aren’t small things. They are the foundation of sustainable energy.  Stable energy creates the foundation for a natural and peaceful existence.

As we move into the year of the Fire Horse, remember that this isn’t about rushing or pushing yourself. It’s about allowing yourself to move forward with intention, confidence, and trust.  There is an intense energy moving us but that energy, without thoughtful guidance, is not likely produce the results we crave, want or desire.  As with all energy, mindful intention is critical lest we spend ourselves foolishly and unproductively in ways that do not foster or support our growth, evolution or life.

Release what is complete.

Create space for new energy.

Take one step at a time.

This is a year of momentum, but also a year of alignment.

Momentum + alignment are incredibly powerful.

Again, still...
